Collector Edition Varsity
Part of the specialized Collector Edition line, Angelus Varsity is a professional-grade acrylic pigment matched to the iconic shade of the White/Varsity Red Air Jordan 6 released in 2010. This technical formula is engineered for the high-movement demands of leather footwear, ensuring that the vibrant red finish integrates with the material rather than sitting on top. Its molecular structure allows the paint to remain highly flexible, effectively preventing surface fractures or peeling in high-stress zones like the toe box during constant mechanical flexing.
For a factory-standard result, the substrate must be prepared with a deglazer to remove original topcoats, allowing for a permanent chemical bond. Applying the paint in several light, even layers ensures a smooth, self-leveling finish that mimics the appearance of a factory-fresh shoe. Once fully cured over 24 hours, the Varsity finish becomes an industrial-strength, waterproof barrier that provides long-term resistance to abrasive scuffing and environmental fading.
Formula: High-flexibility, water-based acrylic resin matched to specific collector footwear colorways.
Application: Suitable for use with brushes, sponges, or airbrushes (thinning with 2-Thin is required for airbrush applications).
Coverage: High-density Varsity red pigment provides exceptional opacity for restoration and custom color-swaps.
Durability: Formulated for maximum resistance to water penetration, scuffing, and UV wear.
Sizes: Currently available in 1 oz containers to support precise restoration and custom work.

Matched off of the 2010 White/Varsity 6 Release.
